Job summary

Qualitest is seeking a seasoned Manual Tester with medical devices domain expertise in Bengaluru. The candidate will validate workflows, perform test design, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on testing of medical devices (MR, Ultrasound, PACS etc.), experience with SDLC/STLC, and familiarity with Jira/ALM, plus basic automation skills in Selenium/Python/Java.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manual testing of medical devices and healthcare workflows.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC concepts, defect lifecycle, and QA methodologies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases for medical device software.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on medical devices and imaging workflows.
• Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA/ALM; participate in defect triage.
• Support automation activities with basic script execution and maintenance.
• Coordinate with development, product, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality.

Job description

JD - Manual + Medical devices:

• 36 years of experience in Software Testing / QAStrong expertise in Manual Testing concepts and test execution
• Hands-on experience in testing Medical Devices
• Experience working on modalities such as MR, IGT, Ultrasound, DXR, PACS, or other healthcare imaging systems
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA methodologies
• Experience in preparing Test Cases, Test Scenarios, RTM, and Test Reports
• Knowledge of Healthcare standards/regulatory compliance is an added advantage
• Basic Automation skills using Selenium, Python, Java, or similar tools
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
