Job summary

YASH Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Manual Testing Engineer to contribute to innovative product development initiatives. You will collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to define and execute test strategies and participate in DV&V testing activities.

The role requires hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, defect reporting and tracking, and strong communication with cross-functional teams to drive quality throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Understanding of product development lifecycles and verification methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with hardware and firmware teams.
• Experience with DV&V testing.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment is a plus.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and report defects.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Understanding of product development lifecycles, design change control, document change control, process verification and validation methodologies, manufacturing/production process control methodologies, and servicing.
• Collaborate closely with hardware and firmware engineers to define and execute test strategies.
• Participate in Design Verification and Validation (DV&V) testing activities.
• Experience working with electronic test equipment.
• Perform Design FMEA with guidance from hardware/software design engineers and principal architects.
• Report and track defects through the test management system.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and identify root causes of product issues.
• Effectively communicate project updates and technical information to cross-functional teams.
