Job summary

YASH Technologies in Bangalore is seeking an experienced Manual Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to innovative product development initiatives.

You will work closely with hardware and firmware engineers, perform DV&V testing, use electronic test equipment, and drive defect reporting and root-cause analysis to ensure high-quality releases.

Immediate joining preferred; 3+ years of experience and familiarity with design change control and validation processes are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manual testing experience in hardware/software products.
• Knowledge of DV&V testing methodologies.
• Experience with electronic test equipment.
• Ability to analyze failures and identify root causes.

Responsibilities

• Understand product development lifecycles and change control processes.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to define and execute test strategies.
• Participate in DV&V testing activities.
• Work with electronic test equipment during testing.
• Assist in conducting Design FMEA with engineering guidance.
• Report and track defects through the test management system.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and identify root causes of product issues.
• Communicate project updates to cross-functional teams.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Understanding of product development lifecycles, design change control, document change control, process verification and validation methodologies, manufacturing/production process control methodologies, and servicing.
• Collaborate closely with hardware and firmware engineers to define and execute test strategies.
• Participate in Design Verification and Validation (DV&V) testing activities.
• Experience working with electronic test equipment.
• Perform Design FMEA with guidance from hardware/software design engineers and principal architects.
• Report and track defects through the test management system.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and identify root causes of product issues.
• Effectively communicate project updates and technical information to cross-functional teams.
