Job summary

Project Tree is seeking a Manual Tester with 5+ years of experience to drive end-to-end validation of web and mobile applications from Surat/Ahmedabad. This is a full-time, on-site role.

You will conduct complex requirement analysis, create exhaustive test scenarios, and perform deep exploratory testing to ensure quality and user experience. You will lead test planning, participate in risk-based validation, and mentor junior QA engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing.
• Mastery of STLC and test case design techniques.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• End-to-end web application testing experience.

Role Overview

As a Manual Tester with 5+ years of experience, you will play a critical role in the end-to-end functional validation of our web and mobile applications. You are expected to go beyond basic testing; you will be responsible for complex requirement analysis, creating exhaustive test scenarios, and performing deep exploratory testing to ensure high-quality delivery. You will play a key role in test planning and risk-based validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Functional Excellence: Analyze business requirements and technical specs to design and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Exploratory & Regression Testing: Perform rigorous functional, regression, and unscripted exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects.
• Strategic Planning: Participate in test planning and estimation; implement a risk-based testing approach to prioritize critical features.
• Web Specialization: Ensure the high-quality delivery of complex web applications across various browsers and environments.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in test case design and documentation.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise: 5+ years in Software Testing with a strong mastery of STLC, test case design techniques, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Core Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking and debugging skills; experience in end-to-end web application testing.
• Good to Have: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, JMeter, and testing in cloud-based environments.
• Soft Skills: Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills, works effectively in cross-functional teams, and provides mentorship to junior QA engineers.
