Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Validate REST and GraphQL APIs, including auth flows and service integration.
• Perform SQL/database testing and troubleshoot backend defects.
• Execute E2E, exploratory, regression, and compatibility testing across devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with developers on testability, quality gates, and shift-left practices.
• Define acceptance criteria, test plans, and risk-based coverage for releases.
• Triages failures and drive defects to closure.
• Mentor junior QEs and contribute to team standards and practices.

Role: Senior Full Stack Quality Engineer
Experience: 5 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Quality Engineer who owns quality across the stack web, mobile, APIs, and backend services. You will design and execute both automated and manual test strategies, partner closely with product and engineering, and raise the bar on release confidence through rigorous functional, integration, and exploratory testing.

• Own end-to-end test strategy for web, mobile, and API/backend surfaces across the SDLC
• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, mobile, and API layers
• Perform REST and GraphQL API validation, including auth flows, contracts, error handling, and service integration
• Validate data integrity with SQL/database testing; identify and troubleshoot backend defects
• Execute E2E, exploratory, regression, and compatibility testing across browsers, devices, and OS versions
• Partner with developers on testability, CI/CD quality gates, and shift-left practices
• Define clear acceptance criteria, test plans, and risk-based coverage for features and releases
• Triage failures, isolate root causes (client vs API vs data vs infra), and drive defects to closure
• Mentor junior QEs and contribute to team standards, tooling, and best practices
• 3-5 years in QA / Quality Engineering with strong ownership of both automation and manual testing
• Hands-on full-stack testing across Web, Mobile, and API/Backend
• Proven delivery of E2E, exploratory, and compatibility testing in production environments

API & backend testing:

• Strong hands-on experience with REST and GraphQL API validation
• Solid SQL/database testing, data integrity checks, and backend troubleshooting
• Experience validating authentication/authorization, service integration, and cross-service workflows
• Comfortable using REST Assured, Postman (or equivalent), and related API tooling

Automation & platforms:

• UI automation with Selenium and/or Playwright
• Mobile automation with Appium (iOS/Android)
• Experience integrating automated suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to design maintainable frameworks (page objects / screen objects, fixtures, reusable utilities)

Nice to have:

• Performance, security, or contract-testing exposure (e.g., k6, Pact)
• Experience with cloud environments and containerized test setups
• Familiarity with accessibility (a11y) and observability tooling for defect diagnosis
• ISTQB or equivalent certification
• Map critical user and API journeys and close major coverage gaps
• Stabilize/expand automation for high-risk web, mobile, and API paths
• Establish a repeatable mix of automated regression + targeted exploratory testing for releases
