Makse Group, a premier Workday consulting firm, seeks a Managing Consultant to lead the Financials practice in a post-go-live support model. You will steer the core Financials, Procurement and Expenses streams, and mentor delivery teams to ensure high-impact outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring CA qualification, 6+ years of finance experience, and strong US GAAP knowledge. Experience with cloud accounting systems and Workday is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in public accounting or private industry finance/accounting.
• 4+ years of team-leading experience with delivering outcomes under tight timelines.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Prior experience with cloud-based accounting systems (ERP/CRM) and Workday is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with Google Cloud tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead client Financial Management workstream, guiding Core Financials, Procurement, and Expense Management post-go-live.
• Hands-on design, configuration, and enhancements within Spend areas (Supplier Accounts/Contracts, Assets, Expenses, Inventory).
• Manage SLAs, work plans, and deadlines for multiple concurrent projects.
• Oversee data conversion, integration maintenance, and regression testing in live client environments.
• Identify process gaps and drive adoption of new Workday features during releases.
• Mentor junior and senior consultants and support growth through proposals and renewals.

Makse Group is seeking a Managing Consultant to join our Workday Financials Practice. This role is designed for a strategic leader with a deep background in finance and accounting who can provide expert post-production support.

As a Managing Consultant, you will lead a complex support workstream and serve as a primary advisor for senior client stakeholders. Your role involves driving system optimizations, mentoring consultants on delivery excellence, and supporting the growth of the practice through best‑practice implementation and business development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead client Financial Management workstream, providing expert guidance on best practices for Core Financials, Procurement, and Expense Management in a post-go-live environment.
• Hands‑on design, solutioning, and configuration of enhancements within Spend areas, including Supplier Accounts/Contracts, Business Assets, Expenses, and Inventory.
• Manage client service levels (SLAs), work plans, and deadlines for multiple concurrent customers on short‑to‑medium duration optimization projects.
• Oversee data conversion, integration maintenance, and regression testing activities across complex, "live" client environments.
• Identify process gaps and enhancement opportunities; drive the adoption of innovative new Workday features during semi‑annual releases.
• Mentor and develop junior and senior consultants, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and delivery excellence.
• Support organizational growth by assisting with client presentations, renewals, and proposal development.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional experience in public accounting or private industry finance/accounting.
• Must have 4+ years of team leading experience and managing deliverables under tight timelines.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Prior experience with cloud‑based accounting systems (ERP/CRM).
• Workday experience is a significant plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with Google Cloud tools.
