Delhivery in Patna, Bihar, seeks a Vendor Acquisition & Onboarding specialist to identify, evaluate, and onboard fleet vendors to support strategic expansion and operational efficiency.

You will scale vendor partnerships across Tier 1 and Tier 2 regions, organize driver outreach to encourage fleet ownership, and coordinate with Operations, Finance and Compliance to monitor vendor performance for cost and service improvements. Travel is required.

Role & responsibilities:

• Vendor Acquisition & Onboarding: Identify, evaluate, and onboard fleet vendors to support business expansion and operational efficiency.
• Scaling & Network Expansion: Develop strategies to scale vendor partnerships across multiple regions, ensuring adequate fleet availability.
• Community Engagement: Organize and lead community meetups in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities to educate and encourage drivers to transition into fleet ownership.
• Government Coordination: Work closely with government agencies and employment programs to source and hire blue-collar drivers efficiently.
• Performance Management: Track vendor performance metrics (SLAs, compliance, cost efficiency) and implement improvement initiatives.
• Process Optimization: Streamline vendor onboarding, contract management, and operational workflows to reduce inefficiencies.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all fleet vendors adhere to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Compliance) to align vendor strategies with business goals

Person Specifications- Skillsets/Education:

• Functional Skills Operations Management, Data Analysis, Stakeholder Management
• Experience - Relevant experience in Logistics/ Manufacturing industry.
• Behavioral Skills - Good communication and people management, analytical skills, task prioritization and follow-up, Hustler, Go-Getter attitude
• Exposure to work in /Ability to work well in a team environment. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for business purposes/in order to gain credibility with senior management.
