Overview

Transport Manager
Account Management – Work Dynamics (west/India)

What this job involves
  • Be a forerunner of quality transport service.
  • Reporting to the facilities manager, act as the helm of all things related to the transport network to provide uninterrupted transport service to clients.
  • Ensure that the fleet is available and on-the-go 24/7 and establish backup plans where needed.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all transport network-related issues at the client site; understand client needs and develop efficient transport procedures that drive savings.
  • Lead regular vendor meetings and connection sessions; manage trainings, records and incident reports; ensure adherence to the company’s audit procedures.
  • Promote teamwork to achieve targets; oversee workload assignment and delegate responsibilities to the right team members.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one catch-ups to update on processes, leaves, back-up plans, scope of work, and career development.
  • Sourcing and developing opportunities for growth of the account; encourage team members to participate in trainings.
  • Ensure the project meets its financial targets by managing monthly accruals and presenting costs to the client; ensure invoices are processed on time.
