Job summary

NASSCOM leads technology architecture for large-scale digital skilling platforms, overseeing LMS, assessment engines, and certification systems. The role drives enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, and system integration with DPI principles.

You will manage vendor relations, onboarding content, and data-driven decision support, while coordinating with content partners and internal tech teams to ensure delivery excellence.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of vendor management, LMS/EdTech, digital learning, skilling projects, or technology-enabled project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing technology vendors, content partners, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with LMS/digital learning platforms and content onboarding.
  • Strong knowledge of Advanced MS Excel and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in creating dashboards and management reports, preferably using Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of SSO, APIs, databases, and system integration.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and coordinate with technology teams/vendors to resolve issues.
  • Experience in project planning, milestone tracking, implementation, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Experience in vendor performance monitoring, SLA management, cost evaluation, and commercial optimisation.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance, process improvement, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and ensure timely closure.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between nasscom and the vendor.
  • Collaborate with the vendor to ensure seamless onboarding of new learning content and courses.
  • Act as a liaison to address questions, concerns, and issues from the vendor's side.
  • Identify and support the closure of all open issues related to vendor services.
  • Communicate and clarify the onboarding process to content partners, ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Work closely with content partners to gather necessary materials and facilitate content delivery.
  • Gain a deep understanding of technical aspects such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and database management.
  • Evaluate the vendor's technical capabilities and identify any potential delivery challenges.
  • Offer technical guidance and solutions to address technical issues as they arise.
  • Monitor and evaluate the vendor's performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with the vendor to optimize pricing structures.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL for data analysis.
  • Convert data insights into informative dashboards.
  • Experience with querying medium-scale data and integrating data from various sources.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee the implementation of various project milestones.
  • Maintain a project schedule and ensure that the project stays on track.
  • Track project progress and report status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the vendor's services meet the quality standards and requirements of the skilling project.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of project-related activities, communications, and technical specifications.
  • Generate reports and documentation to support decision-making and reporting to management.

Job description

Senior Manager/ Deputy Director – Technology, will be leading the team responsible for technology architecture of large-scale digital skilling platforms. The role requires proven experience in designing, scaling, managing end-to-end digital skilling ecosystems, including LMS, assessment engines, certification systems, learner lifecycle management, and employer integration frameworks. The role will drive enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, system integrations, cybersecurity governance, and scalable platform engineering aligned with Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) principles.

Reporting To: Deputy Director

Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between nasscom and the vendor.
