Job summary

TotalEnergies in Bengaluru is seeking a Manager Technical Services to lead preventive maintenance for LPG storage and auto-LPG dispensing systems. You will ensure zero downtime, calibrate dispensers, supervise NDTs, and drive CMMS-driven maintenance planning.

This role demands strong engineering grounding and leadership of a technical team in a customer-facing environment. The position emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across facilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong domain skills on equipment, systems and standards for LPG stations and storage.
  • Ability to diagnose failures, analyze trends and perform RCA/FMEA.
  • Installation, commissioning and maintenance know-how.
  • End-to-end lifecycle understanding of equipment.
  • Safety, compliance with codes and audits (OISD, SMPV, PESO).
  • Spare parts lifecycle management and obsolescence handling.
  • Prepare SOPs, service manuals, checklists and reports.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Manager Technical Services position is responsible for :
  • Planning, scheduling & execution of Preventive maintenance for all segments (BOOM/ALDS/450 KG/ LOT).
  • To Ensure that all break down maintenance are attended in time to ensure zero down time throughout the year.
  • Responsible for keeping up the facilities set by TEMIPL at customer location.
  • Responsible for repair and reuse of spares/ equipment to reduce maintenance cost.
  • Maintaining company assets in good condition at customer location.
  • To carry out Calibration of Dispenser at all ALDS station as per schedule and monitor stamping as per statutory body.
  • Supervise and carry out NDT of storage tanks at LPG facility with 100 % compliance to TEMIPL's HSEQ Policy.
  • Maintenance Management with CMMS - WR,WO,closer and history.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure planning, alignment and execution.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of technical services to ensure quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Compliance with local regulations & TEMIPL standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for technical services.
  • Facilitate training and development programs for technical staff.

Qualification / Experience required:

Qualification level required for the position : Any Engineering ( Electrical Engineering preferred)

Technical skills required for the position :
  1. Strong domain skills - equipment, systems, and standards pertaining to Auto LPG dispensing stations, industrial storage, cylinder manifolds, and related maintenance
  2. Troubleshooting & root-cause analysis - Ability to diagnose failures, analyze trends, and prevent repeat issues (RCA, FMEA).
  3. Installation, commissioning & maintenance know-how
  4. Understanding end-to-end lifecycle of equipment.
  5. Safety & compliance - statutory codes, standards, and audits (OISD, SMPV Rules, PESO, OEM guidelines).
  6. Spare parts & lifecycle management- MTBF, MTTR, critical spares planning, obsolescence handling.
  7. Technical documentation- Preparation of SOPs, service manuals, checklists, method statements, incident reports.

Language skills required for the position :

English - Mid level (write, Read and speak) Local language - Mid level (Read and speak)

Certification required for the position :

Preferred: Electrical work competency issued by concern state electricity board

Specific knowledge required for the position :
  1. 1.Knowledge on facility maintenance management - mechanical, electrical and instruments related to LPG storage tanks and associated equipment's and auto LPG dispensing station
  2. 2. Ability to plan preventive maintenance, schedules, log faults, and perform routine servicing 3.Work with CMMS software for maintenance planning and tracking.
  3. 4.MS-Office Level of experience required for the position :

Experience in maintenance management/technical service of customer facilities at oil & Gas industries, preferably LPG industries with 8 years' experience.
