Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Software Leader in Bengaluru to guide a team of backend and frontend engineers and QA. You will steer architectural decisions for the Identity Security Platform, drive quality and scalable software development, and mentor engineers across functions.

You will advocate best practices, CI, security guidelines, and collaboration with product and support teams to deliver customer-centric solutions at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• BE / BTech / MCA or equivalent.
• 12+ years of hands-on experience in the design & development of building enterprise software.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a software development team as a tech/team lead.
• Expertise and hands-on experience with backend development tech stack - Python/Java/C#/Node js/Go or any similar backend stack on Cloud development ecosystem (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Being full-stack or knowledge of React/Typescript based development is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of security and best practices.
• Experience with Agile, TDD, test methodologies and industry-standard automation testing frameworks.
• Experience in creating technical and architectural documents.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and collaborate across multiple groups and disciplines.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and drive them to successful completion.

Job Summary

• Experience in the development of cloud-based solutions, AWS will be a plus.
