Job summary

Tataconsumer in Gurgaon is seeking a Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance with proven post-qualification experience in supply finance to drive cost analysis, forecasting, and strategic cost optimization across manufacturing, logistics, procurement and quality functions.

You will lead monthly reports, KPIs and dashboards, identify cost-saving opportunities, build capex scenarios for capacity expansions, and collaborate with supply chain to deliver data-driven insights for inventory management,

Qualifications

• CA or MBA Finance with post-qualification experience in finance/supply finance.
• Strong analytical ability and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing, logistics, procurement and quality teams to drive cost efficiency and provide actionable insights.

Job Description

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

• Partner with manufacturing, logistics, procurement and quality teams to drive efficient opportunities and improve cost structure, providing strategic support through actionable insights.
• Lead and develop cost analysis and forecast capabilities to drive pricing, portfolio, capacity, logistic footprint.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyze variances versus budget/prior years, and drive continuous improvement programs
• Collaborate with supply chain to provide data-driven insights for inventory management.
• Prepare monthly reports, performance metrics (KPIs), and dashboards to monitor supply chain efficiency
• Yield tracking on monthly basis & highlighting for any deviation
• Build conversion costing, capex scenarios to drive financial benefits for capacity additions.
• Primary & Secondary logistics automation

Customer Service

• Responsible for handling all logistics-related issues & ensure resolutions on time.

Internal Processes

• Drive continuous improvements in processes and partner in all automation/other projects to improve ways of working.
• Set up Governance for timely review with all stakeholders

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

• Chartered Accountant (first or second attempt) or MBA Finance from premier institute
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience (preferred experience in supply finance)
• Strong analytical ability and interpersonal skills
• Strong Commercial acumen and ability to look for an opportunity in any challenging situation.

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?

• FMCG environment or related industry experience.
• Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the category's financial performance.
