Job summary

Tractebel, part of the ENGIE group, seeks a Deputy Manager/Manager to drive renewable energy consulting in Gurgaon (India). You will guide solar projects from feasibility to commissioning, growing into a project management role while delivering diverse assignments across India and beyond.

You will collaborate across geographies, lead technical workstreams, and contribute to first-class consulting outcomes in solar, wind, hybrid, and storage projects. English communication and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Energy Studies, Energy System Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Solar Energy.
• Four to eight years of experience in renewable energy, preferably in consulting.
• Proficiency in PVsyst, SAM, AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with lender's engineering or independent engineering assignments.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work across solar, wind, hybrid, and storage projects.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to travel.

Responsibilities

As a Deputy Manager or Manager in our Renewable Energy practice, you will shape the technical backbone of solar projects from feasibility to commissioning. You will grow into a project management role while contributing to meaningful consulting assignments across India and beyond.

What You’ll Do
