Job summary

Charles Schwab India in Hyderabad is seeking a Manager, Software Development & Engineering - Quality Assurance to lead QA efforts across manual testing and automation framework development. This role requires hands-on test execution, test case creation, and end-to-end lifecycle management in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate will design and maintain automation frameworks, write SQL for validation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across systems and services.

Qualifications

• Strong experience creating test cases from acceptance criteria.
• Hands on experience in manual testing for complex applications.
• Expertise in UI and API automation using Playwright, Typescript, .NET, C#, and xUnit.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience building custom or hybrid automation frameworks.
• Practical experience with Visual Studio 2022 and Visual Studio Code.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and defect tracking.
• Experience working in an Agile and Scrum environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

What you have

Role Description:

This is a Manager, Software Development & Engineering - Quality Assurance role, with responsibilities including hands-on experience in manual testing and automation test framework development. In addition, this role requires test case development, maintenance, and end to end test lifecycle management including hands on test execution.

• Strong experience creating test cases from acceptance criteria

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to stress testing and load testing tools or methodologies
