Hireflex247 India Private Limited is seeking an experienced Manager – Software Development to lead a team delivering cloud-native enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure. You’ll own delivery, architecture and people development in a hands-on leadership capacity.

You will shape designs, review code, set engineering standards and collaborate with product owners to deliver scalable, secure solutions in a hybrid Mysuru environment.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of software development experience.
• 3–5+ years managing software development teams.
• Strong C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core Web API and REST APIs.
• Hands-on Azure experience: App Services, Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Storage, Service Bus and Azure DevOps.
• Microservices architecture, Docker and Kubernetes.
• SQL Server, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud applications.
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or similar. A Master's is a plus.

About the Client

Our client is a leading North American transportation and logistics provider. It delivers premium, time-critical freight services to freight forwarders, airlines, third-party logistics providers and large enterprise shippers. It is growing its engineering capability in Mysuru to build and run enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Manager – Software Development to lead a team of developers, technical leads and QA engineers. The team designs, builds, deploys and maintains cloud-native enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll own delivery and people development, and you'll also shape architecture, review designs and code, and set engineering standards. You'll work closely with product owners and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor and manage developers, technical leads and QA engineers.
• Run performance reviews, coaching and career development.
• Build a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.
• Own project planning, resource allocation and sprint execution.

Software Development & Architecture

• Design and build enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Drive architecture decisions for scalable cloud solutions.
• Enforce coding standards, security best practice and quality.
• Review technical designs and take part in code reviews.

Azure Cloud

• Design and manage cloud-native applications on Azure.
• Deliver scalable, secure, highly available solutions using App Services, Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault and Azure Monitor.
• Optimise cloud performance, reliability and cost.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning with IaC (ARM, Bicep or Terraform).
• Monitor production and keep systems reliable.

Stakeholder Management

• Work with product owners, business analysts, infrastructure teams and the business.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Report on project status, risks and technical recommendations.

Security & Compliance

• Make sure applications meet security policies.
• Implement authentication and authorisation with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Support audit, governance, disaster recovery and business continuity.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

• 10–15 years of software development experience.
• 3–5+ years managing software development teams.
