Job summary

GenNext India Private Limited seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of pump systems and associated layouts. The role requires hands-on experience with pump sizing, PHGA, and hydro layouts, along with strong collaboration with project teams.

Candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office, capable of providing technical guidance, and mentoring junior engineers on site support and drainage/dewatering projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Indian/International codes.
• Strong mechanical design skills and experience.
• Experience in pump selection and layouts is preferred.
• Ability to guide a team and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems: pumps, layouts, and equipment sizing.
• Develop pumping, hydro layouts, and pipe routing.
• Assist site with reviews, guidance, and problem resolution.

Job description

Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in pump selection, PHGA, pumping & hydro layouts, equipment sizing (pump, valve, crane, OPU, MIV), auxiliary cooling, drainage/dewatering, HVAC sizing, piping design, layout review and site support.

Required Candidate profile

Knowledge of Indian/International codes, AutoCAD, MS Excel & MS Office. Strong mechanical design skills, communication, project leadership, technical guidance and team mentoring experience.
