Job summary

Tsaaro is seeking a Manager / Senior Manager – Data Privacy to lead hands-on delivery of client privacy projects and champion privacy programs. You will coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Product teams to embed privacy controls and drive risk-based privacy solutions globally.

The role requires 4–7+ years in privacy or data protection, strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP Act, and hands-on experience with privacy platforms.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in privacy, data protection or privacy consulting roles.
• Strong working knowledge of global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP Act, etc.) and practical implementation experience.
• Familiarity with privacy governance programs and core concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead privacy assessments including DPIAs, PIAs, RoPA, data mapping, and privacy audits.
• Design and implement privacy policies, frameworks, and governance models for clients.
• Provide advisory support on major privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP Act, etc.).
• Drive privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default initiatives across projects.
• Support Data Subject Rights programs and privacy incident response activities.
• Conduct third-party privacy risk assessments and vendor due diligence under guidance.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Product to embed privacy controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments to maintain client compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Privacy is at the heart of everything we do. Our team of privacy consultants, legal experts, and cybersecurity professionals partner closely with clients to deliver practical, risk-based privacy solutions that enable compliance, minimize risk, and build trust.

In this role, you will lead hands-on delivery of client privacy projects, manage key components of privacy programs, and serve as a trusted advisor. You will work closely with client teams and internal experts to ensure compliance and promote privacy best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage privacy assessments, including gap assessments, DPIAs, PIAs, RoPA , data mapping, and privacy audits .
  
• Support the design and implementation of privacy policies, frameworks, and governance models aligned with client needs .
  
• Provide advisory support on major global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP Act, PDPL, etc.)
  
• Drive privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default initiatives across client projects .
  
• Assist with Data Subject Rights (DSR) programs and privacy incident response activities .
  
• Conduct third-party privacy risk assessments and vendor due diligence under guidance .
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Product to embed privacy controls .
  
• Monitor privacy trends and regulatory developments to ensure clients’ ongoing compliance .
  
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing .
  

Requirements

Requirements

• 4 to 7+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, or privacy consulting roles .
  
• Strong working knowledge of global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP Act, etc.) and practical experience implementing compliance initiatives .
  
• Hands on experience in GRC frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, etc.
  
• Experience conducting privacy risk assessments, data mapping, DPIAs, and developing privacy governance programs .
  
• Familiarity with privacy platforms such as One Trust , Securiti.ai, BigID , or similar tools .
  
• Relevant certifications preferred (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) .
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills .
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments .
