Job summary

Agram in Chennai seeks an experienced SOC professional to lead daily monitoring and incident response, aligning with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and enterprise security controls.

You will coordinate with engineering, develop detection rules, dashboards, and ensure secure software development lifecycle practices across teams, with 8–12 years in the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• CISSP, CISM, GIAC certifications are preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in security operations.
• Strong incident response and threat hunting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily monitoring & review of security event activities and cyber threat landscape to ensure the organization's security controls.
• Manage resolution of cyber security incidents, and coordinate with engineering support for security systems.
• Identify & diagnose potential threats, including root cause analysis and after-action reviews to ensure security controls defend the enterprise against malicious network attacks, including Firewalls, IPS etc
• Drive creation & implementation of customer alerting rules, searches, and dashboards for review and investigations
• Collaborate with internal teams to embed security, logging, auditing and support needs during the software development cycle
• Implement NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Ensure segregation of duties & responsibilities
• Develop and streamline process and procedures for efficient operations of SOC
