Candidates should hold CISSP, CISM, GPEN, GREM, GCFE, and ITIL, with 8–12 years of experience. The role emphasizes governance, logging, and continuous security improvement across the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• CISSP certification.
• CISM certification.
• GPEN certification (GIAC).
• GREM: GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware.
• GCFE: GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• 8–12 years of experience in security operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily monitoring and review of security events and threat landscape.
• Coordinate with engineering for security incidents and system responses.
• Identify threats, perform root-cause analysis, and strengthen controls against attacks.
• Develop and implement alerts, searches, and dashboards for investigations.
• Collaborate with teams to embed security, logging, and audit needs in SDLC.
• Implement the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Ensure segregation of duties and responsibilities.
• Streamline SOC processes and procedures for efficient operations.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily monitoring & review of security event activities and cyber threat landscape to ensure the organization's security controls
• Manage resolution of cyber security incidents, and coordinate with engineering support for security systems
• Identify & diagnose potential threats, including root cause analysis and after-action reviews to ensure security controls defend the enterprise against malicious network attacks, including Firewalls, IPS etc
• Drive creation & implementation of customer alerting rules, searches, and dashboards for review and investigations
• Collaborate with internal teams to embed security, logging, auditing and support needs during the software development cycle
• Implement NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Ensure segregation of duties & responsibilities
• Develop and streamline process and procedures for efficient operations of SOC
