Job summary

KEC International in Mumbai seeks an experienced SAP BPC Embedded specialist to design and deliver end-to-end planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation solutions. You will develop data models on BW on HANA, create planning functions, input templates, and BPFs, and integrate BPC with BW/HANA for real-time access.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and training end users are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SAP BPC Embedded, BW on HANA, and HANA modeling experience.
• Strong BW modeling skills: InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, and Open ODS Views.
• Proficiency in ABAP for custom planning functions and enhancements.
• Experience with Analysis for Office (AO) and Excel-based planning templates.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP BPC Embedded solutions for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation.
• Develop and optimize data models using SAP BW on HANA and native HANA modeling techniques.
• Create planning functions and sequences, Analysis for Office (AO) input templates, and Business Process Flows (BPFs).
• Integrate BPC with BW and HANA to enable real-time data access and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define architecture, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using BW and HANA tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across BPC, BW, and HANA layers.
• Document technical specifications and user guides and provide training to end users and support teams.
• Develop BPC objects such as reports, input templates, script logic, and data manager packages.
• Configure business process flows and business rules within SAP BPC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ERP, security, and portal teams to ensure seamless data integration and reporting.
• Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle: requirement gathering, blueprinting, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in SAP BPC Embedded, BW on HANA, and HANA modeling.
• Strong command of BW modeling tools including InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, and Open ODS Views.
• Expertise in HANA Studio or Web IDE for native modeling (Calculation Views, SQL scripting).
• Proficiency in ABAP for custom planning functions and enhancements.
• Experience with Analysis for Office (AO) and Excel-based planning templates.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Preferred Experience
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and integration with BPC.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA Embedded Analytics and mixed modeling scenarios.
• Understanding of virtualized data warehouse architectures and performance tuning strategies.
