Overview
As a Manager within NielsenIQ’s Retail Insights team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting leading FMCG and Tech-Durables retailers across Modern Trade and E-commerce channels. This client-facing position involves delivering strategic insights through monthly and quarterly industry reviews to senior leadership at partner organizations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Operations, and Data Science to ensure high-quality, data-driven insights & solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Servicing
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned retail clients, managing day-to-day interactions and ensuring timely delivery of insights
- Present industry reviews and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders at client organizations
- Support client onboarding and training on NielsenIQ tools and RMS methodologies
- Work on Thought Leadership decks, quarterly infographics presentations, and help proactively in lead generation
- Internal Collaboration & Analysis
- Coordinate and execute product / market feasibility assessments and provide inputs during contract discussions
- Collaborate with internal Ops / BI teams for database generation, report creation, and ad-hoc analysis
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date client business profiles for internal use
- Technical Expertise
- Acquire and apply knowledge of NielsenIQ’s RMS solutions through structured training
- Conduct quality checks on reports and analyses to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations
- Provide analytical and operational support to senior team members
Qualifications & Skills
- 4-5 years of experience in FMCG, Retail, or Service industries
- Strong client orientation with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of research methodologies; familiarity with statistics and multivariate analysis is a plus
- Prior experience with RMS tools is advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight timelines
