Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited in Tamil Nadu invites applications for a Store Manager (M1) in Retail. You will lead a store, drive sales of Voice, Data, devices, and value-added services, and ensure profitability.

You will manage stock and merchandising, supervise a team, optimize customer experience, and maintain processes and standards across operations. This on-site role offers growth opportunities within a fast-growing telecom brand and exposure to store-level leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduation is mandatory.
• Experience in store management and supervising a team.
• Strong customer service and sales orientation.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales targets for all products and services.
• Ensure and monitor quality of customer acquisition at the store.
• Deliver revenue targets and increase revenue per footfall.
• Achieve profitability and minimize losses due to wastage.
• Manage customer churn and ensure satisfaction for walk-in customers.
• Ensure adherence to store processes, stock availability, and merchandising.
• Execute marketing, branding, and promotions at the store.
• Maintain inventory and display product placements effectively.

Job Purpose

To manage the profitability of the company owned store

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Sales

• 1. Achieve sales target for all products (Voice-Post-paid/ prepaid, data, VAS, handsets etc.) at a VodafoneIdea store
• 2. Ensure and monitor quality of acquisition through the store

Revenue

• -Deliver revenue targets for the store
• -Increase revenue per footfall by aiding customers purchase decisions

RoI

• - Achieve profitability (Return on investment) targets for the store
• - Minimize losses from pilferage (wastage) and shrinkage (unidentified losses)

Customer Service

• -Manage churn and achieve customer satisfaction for walk-in customers

Store Management

• -Ensure adherence to store processes in terms of documentation and systems
• -Ensure infrastructure / store upkeep
• -Maintain availability of stock at the store while adhering to norms
• -Ensure appropriate placement of pop-ups and product displays at store

Marketing

• -Execute marketing, branding and promotion activities
• -Ensure fliers/ brand POS are available at store
• -Resolve channel-specific issues within specific timelines
