Job summary

M&G India in Mumbai seeks a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to handle EMIR and MAS transaction reporting, data reconciliation, and MI reporting.

You will work with RHUB, DTCC, Aladdin, TradeServ, and MarketServ tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve controls and automation.

Graduate with finance/economics background and 4–6 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Masters in Finance / Economics / Any Certification like FRM / CFA will be a plus
  • 4 to 6 years of overall experience with minimum of 3 years in Transaction Reporting side of Regulatory Reporting
  • In-depth knowledge of EMIR and MAS Transaction Reporting is essential
  • Knowledge of global regulations (SFTR, MiFID) is advantageous
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and data analysis tools; Power BI and SQL advantageous for MI reporting and automation

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of EMIR and MAS transaction reports.
  • Support regulatory reporting initiatives and risk controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve processes.
  • Conduct reconciliations and contribute to MI reporting and KPIs.
  • Apply strong data analysis and regulatory reporting expertise.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting

Ensure accurate and timely submission of EMIR and MAS transaction reports, with future scope to support MiFID, SFTR, and other regulatory regimes.

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

Support Managers in achieving team objectives, contribute to business-wide initiatives, and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and third-party vendors.

Risk & Control Management

Identify and mitigate operational risks through effective processes, controls, and use of technology.

Process Improvement & Change Support

Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and controls; support remediation efforts and regulatory/business-led change initiatives.

Data Analysis & MI Reporting

Conduct reconciliations, manage back-reporting exercises, and contribute to the preparation of management information and KPIs.

Technical & Analytical Expertise

Apply strong technical skills and attention to detail in a data-driven environment, ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Professional Attributes

Demonstrate flexibility, strong communication, time management, and a proactive approach to learning and task ownership.

Experience & Educational Qualification
Experience
  • 4 to 6 years of overall experience with minimum of 3 years in Transaction Reporting side of Regulatory Reporting
  • In-depth knowledge of EMIR and MAS Transaction Reporting is essential
  • knowledge of global regulations ( SFTR, MiFID ) is advantageous.
  • Experienced in using RHUB, DTCC, Aladdin, TradeServ, and MarketServ for EMIR trade reporting, reconciliations, exception management, UTI management, and regulatory reporting oversight
  • Familiarity with Positional Reporting and other regulatory frameworks is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of Investment Management activities and related operational processes
  • High level of literacy and numeracy, proficient in Excel, Word, and data analysis tools such as Power Power BI and SQL would be advantageous for MI reporting, data analysis, dashboard development, trend analysis, and driving process automation and operational efficiencies.
  • Exposure to platforms used for data processing and reconciliation (e.g., Kaizen)
  • Ability to adapt to evolving regulatory and business requirements
