ACCIONA Energía in Karnataka seeks a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to monitor central and state policies, tariff orders, and regulatory developments impacting renewable energy assets. You will provide regulatory due diligence, grid connectivity feasibility studies, and advisory across project stages.
Ideal candidate holds a BE/B.Tech and has strong understanding of energy laws, permitting, and stakeholder engagement.

Policy Analysis: Understanding energy laws, tariffs, and state or federal mandates like Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS)
Permitting and Siting: Navigating land use, environmental impact assessments (EIAs), and local or national authorization processes.
Grid Interconnection: Familiarity with transmission protocols, open-access regulations, and utility interconnection standards.
Contract Negotiation: Drafting and reviewing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and energy banking or land lease agreements
Awareness on Quality, Environment and OSHAS Management System Requirement
issued by CERC/SERC and government relevant to IEX, filing of petitions/applications/ compliances before relevant regulatory and appellate authorities
B.E/B.Tech. from reputed/recognized university
