Job summary

Michael Page in Bengaluru is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of R2R leadership to oversee end-to-end Record to Report operations from the India-based GCC for the Americas region. You will manage a multi-level accounting team, ensure timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes, and own balance sheet governance and policy compliance in a global manufacturing context.

Job Description

• Lead end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) operations for the Americas region from the India-based GCC.
• Manage a team structure comprising direct reports, team leads, and a broader accounting organisation supporting global stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Own balance sheet governance, reconciliation processes, and policy compliance.
• Review and improve journal entries, accruals, ageing analysis, and general ledger processes.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance requirements.

The Successful Applicant

• CA candidates with 8+ years of relevant R2R experience.
• Proven experience managing teams of 20+ employees with multiple direct reports.
• Strong expertise in end-to-end Record to Report processes.
• Deep understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, governance, and control frameworks.
• Experience with month-end close, year-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reporting processes.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or complex global business environments preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage global teams.
