Qualifications

  • Own and continuously improve the QMS, including document control, internal audits, management review and CAPA.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead quality across production with control plans, inspection standards and measurement systems.
  • Reduce scrap, rework and defects using structured problem solving (8D, DMAIC, A3).
  • Manage customer complaints, returns and CA/PA actions with timely containment and root-cca analysis.
  • Partner with procurement and suppliers to ensure quality and corrective action execution.
  • Lead NPI/Change Management activities and ensure quality in product/process changes.
  • Establish and report quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve the QMS (ISO 9001 or equivalent) including document control and audits.
  • Lead quality assurance across production: incoming, in-process, final inspection with control plans.
  • Drive reduction of scrap, rework and defects using structured problem solving (8D, DMAIC, A3).
  • Manage customer complaints and returns with containment, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Track and improve KPIs such as PPM, FPY, COPQ, and CAPA cycle time.
  • Partner with procurement and suppliers to ensure supplier capability and corrective action execution.
  • Lead supplier audits and development plans; support qualification of new suppliers.
  • Support APQP/PPAP activities including PFMEA, process validation and readiness reviews.
  • Establish and report quality KPIs; lead continuous improvement and training.

Job description

  • Ensure compliance with customer, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational & Manufacturing Quality
  • Lead quality assurance activities across production (incoming, in-process, final inspection), including control plans, inspection standards, and measurement system effectiveness.
  • Drive reduction of scrap, rework, and defects using structured problem-solving (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, A3).
  • Customer Quality
  • Manage customer complaints and returns, ensuring timely containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effective communication.
  • Track and improve key customer metrics (PPM, complaint rate, on-time closure of corrective actions).
  • Partner with procurement and suppliers to ensure supplier capability, quality performance, and corrective action execution.
  • Lead supplier audits and development plans; support qualification of new suppliers.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) / Change Management
  • Support APQP/PPAP (or equivalent) activities, including risk assessments (PFMEA), process validation, and readiness reviews.
  • Ensure quality requirements are embedded in product and process changes.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and training to strengthen quality capability across the organization.
  • Leadership & People Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop quality engineers/technicians and cross-functional teams.
  • Promote a strong safety and quality culture; ensure effective communication and accountability.
  • Quality Management System (QMS)

    • Ensure compliance with customer, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
