Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E. in Civil Eng. or B Arch. or Interior Design certification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management and interior fit-out site execution.
• Ability to read ID drawings and vendor shop drawings.
• Experience with contracting firms and project management organisations on high-end fit-out projects.
• Hotel project experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail in hard finishes and knowledge of finishing materials.
• Good communication skills; proficient in MS Word, Excel, and MS Projects.
• MS Project knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and standards.
• Inspect materials on site for MARs and technical specifications.
• Assist the planner in sequencing works and handover logistics between contractors.
• Review factory finished works against shop drawings.
• Implement QC procedures, ITPs, MIRs, and WIRs on site.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, test results, NCRs and corrective action records.
• Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and contractors to address quality-related concerns.
• Participate in client, consultant, and internal quality review meetings.
• Assist in training site staff on best practices for construction quality control.
• Conduct on-site quality inspections for interior works such as flooring, tiling, wall panelling, false ceiling, case goods, mill works and FFE.

Job Description

• Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, andstandards
• Inspect materials delivered to the site for compliance with approved MaterialApproval Requests (MARs) and technical specifications.
• Assist the planner in implementing sequencing of works and Hand Over &TakeOver of areas between various contractors
• Review of factory finished works in know down stage and compare it with theshop drawings
• Implement Quality Control procedures, ITPs. MIRs and work WIRs on site
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, test results, NCRs (Non-ConformanceReports), and corrective action records.
• Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and contractors to addressquality-related concerns.
• Participate in client, consultant, and internal quality review meetings.
• Support in preparing monthly quality reports and recommendations forimprovement.
• Assist in training site staff on best practices for construction qualitycontrol.
• Conduct on-site quality inspections for Interior works such as flooring, tilingwall panelling, false ceiling, cased goods, Mill works and Loose furniture andFFE.

Requirements

• Diploma, / B.E. in Civil Eng. or B Arch. Or Certification course in InteriorDesign
• Min 10 years of experience in construction management and site execution ofinterior fit-out works
• Ability to read ID drawings and details including vendor shop drawings
• Exposure in working with contracting firms, and project managementorganizations for a high-end fit-out works, from start till completion
• Experience in working for a hotel project will be preferred
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Eye for detail in hard finishes and knowledge of various finishing materialswill be a plus
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, MS Projects
• Knowledge of MS Project is aplus
