Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Manager - Property in Mumbai, India. You will oversee day-to-day operations across security, janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and upkeep.

You will manage vendor contracts, implement safety plans, and coordinate tenant move-ins/outs while ensuring lease compliance and strong tenant relations.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations and facility management.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.

• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and repair needs.
• Manage vendor contracts and service-level agreements.
• Implement safety protocols and emergency preparedness plans.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs; ensure lease compliance and tenant retention.

• Ensure lease compliance and foster positive tenant relationships to support retention.
• Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and capital expenditure plans.
• Collect rent, manage arrears, and oversee financial reporting.
• Monitor expenses, approve invoices, and control costs.
• Provide variance reports and performance analysis to ownership.
• Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to local laws, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Manage insurance requirements and assist with claims.
• Maintain accurate documentation, contracts, and records.
• Capital Projects & Improvements
• Plan and oversee renovations, upgrades, and major repairs.
• Obtain bids, manage contractors, and ensure projects stay on schedule and budget
