Qualifications

  • 8–10 years in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or development finance.
  • CFA/MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record sourcing and structuring investments in fast-growing Indian startups.

Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate opportunities that advance skilling, employment, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion for underserved communities.
  • Conduct financial, commercial, and operational due diligence; build models, valuations, and investment memos.
  • Structure equity, debt, and blended-finance transactions and lead execution through close.
  • Monitor portfolio companies against financial, operational, and impact goals.
  • Partner with portfolio companies on strategy, governance, fundraising, and growth.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to strengthen outcomes across the portfolio.
  • Track market and policy trends shaping the investment landscape.
  • Build relationships across venture capital, private equity, impact funds, and government.
  • Represent the Foundation in ecosystem forums and investor discussions.
  • Present recommendations and portfolio updates to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills and Traits:
  • 8 to 10 years in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or development finance; CFA/MBA preferred.

  • Experience working directly with founders and management teams.
