The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation seeks a Manager, Programs, India to source, structure, and manage investments across the Jobs & Livelihoods portfolio in New Delhi. You will drive origination, due diligence, and execution, building catalytic capital pathways to scalable employment and financial inclusion, with a strong emphasis on measurable impact.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or development finance.
  • Track record sourcing and structuring investments in fast-growing Indian startups.
  • Strong financial modeling, diligence, and deal-structuring skills.
  • Experience working directly with founders and management teams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and judgment.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and full ownership in a lean team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Origination & Execution: Source and evaluate opportunities that advance skilling, employment, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion for underserved communities.
  • Conduct financial, commercial, and operational due diligence; build models, valuations, and investment memos.
  • Structure equity, debt, and blended-finance transactions and lead execution through close.
  • Portfolio Support: Monitor portfolio companies against financial, operational, and impact goals.
  • Partner with portfolio companies on strategy, governance, fundraising, and growth.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to strengthen outcomes across the portfolio.
  • Strategy & Stakeholder Management: Track market and policy trends shaping the investment landscape.
  • Build relationships across venture capital, private equity, impact funds, and government.
  • Represent the Foundation in ecosystem forums and investor discussions.
  • Present recommendations and portfolio updates to senior leadership.

The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation invests in mission-driven companies that expand economic mobility for low-income communities across India. This role will source, structure, and manage investments across the Jobs & Livelihoods portfolio — deploying catalytic capital into business models that create pathways to sustainable employment and financial inclusion. We are looking for a highly driven professional who can work closely with MSDF portfolio company founders, co-investors, and ecosystem partners to build a mission aligned pipeline and support portfolio companies as they scale. The Program Manager will report into Head of Jobs & Livelihoods, India.

Key Responsibilities:

Origination & Execution

  • Source and evaluate opportunities that advance skilling, employment, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion for underserved communities
  • Conduct financial, commercial, and operational due diligence; build models, valuations, and investment memos
