Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain/purchase with strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement procurement strategies to meet the purchasing needs.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supply availability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and budget constraints.
• Coordinate with the finance team to ensure proper budget allocation and adherence to financial regulations.
• Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
• Resolve supplier-related issues such as delivery delays, quality concerns, or contractual disputes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement to drive continuous improvement.
• Inventory planning as per demand forecast from retail team.
• Frequently visiting warehouse to check SOP followed for documentation, space and safety of stock.
