Job Summary

We seek an experienced Manager – Procurement to own end‑to‑end sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and kitchen consumables. You will craft cost‑efficient procurement strategies, secure reliable supplier partnerships, and keep inventory lean while safeguarding food‑grade quality and compliance. The role reports to the Head of Supply Chain and directly impacts gross margins and production continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization – design category‑wise sourcing plans, track commodity trends, and unlock savings without sacrificing quality.
• Supplier Management & Contracting – qualify vendors, negotiate price/credit terms, run periodic audits, and maintain win‑win relationships for timely, defect‑free deliveries.
• Inventory & Demand Planning – align with production forecasts, set optimal stock levels, and drive healthy turnover to avoid both stockouts and write‑offs.
• Quality & Compliance Assurance – enforce HACCP/FSSAI/ISO standards, resolve quality deviations fast, and keep airtight documentation for audits.
• Budget & Risk Control – own the procurement P&L, flag variances, hedge against price volatility, and build contingency plans for supply‑chain disruptions.
• Process & Tech Enablement – leverage ERP/IMS tools, surface data‑driven insights, and champion continuous improvement initiatives across the buying cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Food Technology, or Business; MBA/CSCP a plus.
• 5–8 years in procurement for food manufacturing, FMCG, or QSR/Cloud‑kitchen networks.
• Demonstrated success in cost optimisation and supplier‑relationship management.
• Solid grasp of food‑safety regulations and audit protocols.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and procurement or inventory‑management software.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and cross‑functional communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel to vendor sites and plant locations as needed.
