About the Role

Leads team of intermediate to experienced Procurement professionals, setting objectives and guiding others on RFPs, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and/or program execution. Reviews prices, manufacturing processes, and contracts and makes recommendations for changes to ensure a successful procurement process. The Manager, SCM – Business Excellence: Data & Process Transformation will lead the supply chain transformation agenda across Productivity & Cost Savings, Price Change Governance, Payment Terms, and Master Data (Vendor Master & Supplier Onboarding). This role demands deep experience in supply chain operations, strong people leadership, and the ability to execute high-impact programs that drive measurable business value. The Manager will own strategy, design, and execution of supply chain data and process transformation initiatives spanning procurement, sourcing, and category management, including price change governance, payment-term centralization, vendor master management, and supplier onboarding, with direct accountability for portfolio delivery across global sites and stakeholders. The role includes managing a team of specialists/analysts, leading cross-functional programs, and partnering with global supply chain, finance, and operations leaders to deliver scalable, digitally enabled business solutions.

Job Description

Manages execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, including RFPs, negotation strategy, cost accountability, and/or program execution. Directs programs for effective vendor selection and management with a view to minimize purchasing costs without compromising quality or reliability of supply. Reviews changes in price trends and manufacturing processes and makes recommendations to ensure successful procurement process. Manages resolution of client issues or problems. Monitors and coordinates suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries. Authorizes purchase orders, negotiates prices and approves payments to support the procurement process in large territories. Reviews and assesses request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages. Analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to help determine need for changes.

Responsibilities
  1. 1. Strategy & Leadership in Process Transformation · Define and own the transformation roadmap across the core pillars: Productivity & Cost Savings (reporting, value-capture tracking & automation), Price Change / Price Updating Governance, Master Data governance & standardization (vendor master, item, and contract data), Supplier Onboarding centralization, and Payment Terms & Working Capital optimization (DPO, 1x centralization). ·Lead a team of specialists/analysts and drive portfolio execution against business targets for these pillars: - o Productivity & Cost Savings: Centralize productivity and cost-savings reporting across factory, indirect, and logistics sites; run the stage-gate / value-capture process end to end, and identify and recover clawbacks and missed opportunities to convert pipeline into realized savings. o Master Data & Vendor Master: Standardize and govern supplier, vendor, item, and contract master data; own data quality, validation rules, and de-duplication to maintain a clean, reliable vendor master consistent across systems and regions. o Payment Terms & Working Capital: Expand payment-term (DPO) initiatives, centralize 1x governance, and target WAPT improvements with measurable working-capital impact. o Supplier Onboarding: Centralize and simplify the supplier onboarding process; standardize intake, documentation, and data setup with clear SLAs and controls to enable faster, compliant onboarding across regions. o Price Change / Price Updation Governance: Own the end-to-end price change process and controls; ensure timely, accurate price updation in the system with the right approvals, audit trail, and exception management, working closely with category, materials, and finance teams. · Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes to identify structural improvement opportunities; drive strategic changes to improve cost, speed, compliance, and operational resilience. ·Lead, coach, and develop specialists/analysts; allocate resources, prioritize work, and review deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes and meet business milestones.

Reporting, Governance, and Oversight ·Lead the design and implementation of Power BI/Excel dashboards for executive-level analytics, insights, and business metrics across procurement and inbound supply chain. ·Own the governance model for critical procurement metrics, including cadence, definitions, and alignment with finance and category teams. ·Drive transformation and centralization of reporting with a strong focus on automation, data integrity, and auditability. ·Own procurement master data quality KPIs and governance processes, ensuring consistency across systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and regions.

  3. 3. Advanced Stakeholder & Team Management · Act as the primary point of contact for global and regional procurement, category management, and sourcing leaders on master data and reporting topics. · Align transformation projects with business priorities; provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and impact. · Promote effective collaboration and communication across global teams; facilitate workshops and steering meetings to harmonize processes and standards. · Influence stakeholders to adopt standardized processes, data definitions, and tools, balancing global governance with local business needs.

Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 12+ years’ experience in supply chain or manufacturing, with significant exposure to data/process transformation, procurement, sourcing, and category management. Deep expertise in supply chain management, master data governance, procurement analytics, and operational finance with hands‑on experience in data quality initiatives and reporting automation Proven experience managing teams (5+) and leading complex programs or transformation initiatives in a global environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; advanced experience with Power BI, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and emerging digital tools strongly preferred. Demonstrated track record of driving transformation, simplifying complex data landscapes, and delivering measurable business impact. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational change. High learning agility, accountability, and strong collaboration skills across cross‑functional and cross‑regional teams.
