Job summary

IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) is seeking an experienced IT procurement leader to manage end-to-end sourcing for software, cloud, SaaS, and manpower services. You will drive negotiations, supplier evaluation, and contract awards while optimizing spend and ensuring policy compliance.

Collaborate with Digital, Finance, Legal, and InfoSec teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals. Strong expertise in SAP Ariba and S/4HANA is required, with 10–15 years in Procurement roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; MBA preferred.
• Preference for Computer Science/IT or related engineering.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Procurement, or Business Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT procurement lifecycle for software, licenses, cloud, and manpower services.
• Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes including supplier evaluation, commercial assessments, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Negotiate software licensing, subscription, maintenance, support / managed services, and professional services agreements.
• Develop and execute category strategies to optimize spend and improve supplier performance.
• Partner with Digital, Finance, Legal, InfoSec, and Business teams to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
• Conduct spend analytics, market benchmarking, and TCO assessments to drive savings.
• Manage supplier relationships, governance reviews, and performance scorecards.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Drive procurement automation and digital adoption through SAP Ariba and S/4HANA.

Experience -

• 10–15 years of Procurement / Strategic Sourcing experience.
• 5+ years of focused IT Procurement experience.
• Proven expertise in Software, SaaS, Cloud, Enterprise Applications, IT Services, and Technology Contracts.

Education & Qualifications -

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any discipline).
• Preference will be given to candidates with a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering background.
• MBA / Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Procurement, or Business Management preferred.
