Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, technology, or procurement.
  • 7+ years in a corporate setting with at least 3+ years in procurement or related domain.
  • Proven expertise in procurement, category strategy, or strategic sourcing across Marketing/Technology.
  • Strong understanding of marketing ecosystems and technology landscapes.
  • Experience in supplier performance management and contract negotiations.
  • Strong analytical capability to translate data into executive insights.

About the role

The Manager – Performance, Risk & Analytics Global Marketing Procurement executes category strategies that maximise value, drive innovation, and enable business growth across marketing and technology spend areas. This role contributes to translating business priorities into data-driven procurement strategies that enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and competitive advantage. A core focus of the role is the advanced analytics skills, market intelligence, and performance metrics knowledge. Provide ideas on spend optimisation, supplier performance, and return on investment across marketing and technology initiatives. Within this role you will support creating performance management frameworks, including KPIs, benchmarking, and continuous improvement mechanisms to ensure suppliers consistently deliver against expectations. Within this role it is expected to continuously scans the market for emerging trends, innovations, and new commercial levers—such as evolving agency models, martech advancements, and digital transformation opportunities. This role will oversee the project portfolio creation and maintenance of activities for their respective area of support.

Role Responsibilities
  • Partner effectively across all areas of Global Procurement esp. focus on Global Marketing Procurement to drive activities and priorities in support of the business needs
  • Regularly interact with Haleon leadership, Global Marketing & Technology leads
  • Contribute creation of team KPIs in alignment with overall Global Procurement strategy and goals, and drive performance management of the team
  • Contribute to create high quality input into QSC LT and select HET presentations and senior leader engagements
  • Lead the alignment of Global Procurement inputs into Marketing & Tech updates, enabling a category-oriented procurement organization to effectively maintain matrix relationships with key stakeholders
  • Lead or support opportunity identification and/or business reviews through activities such as top-down budget/ expense reviews, leading ideation sessions or driving best practice benchmarking
  • Support team alignment and drive changes/actions within the team for key central programs.
  • Support Global Procurement’s participation in external benchmarking efforts – deliver intelligence on external best practices and enhance team’s relative maturity and capabilities.
  • Role needs to define should cost modelling and deliver relevant market intelligence data.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions and divestment related activities as assigned based on relevance to region/focus area
  • Other projects support/lead as appropriate
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Procurement or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years’ experience in a corporate environment, with at least 3+ years in procurement or related domain
  • Proven expertise in Procurement, Category Strategy, or Strategic Sourcing—particularly across Marketing and/or Technology categories
  • Strong understanding of marketing ecosystem (agencies, media, digital) and/or technology landscape (martech, SaaS, platforms)
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier performance management (KPIs, benchmarking, continuous improvement) and contract negotiation
  • Strong analytical capability with ability to translate complex data into insights and executive-level storytelling
  • Experience in program management, including change management, prioritization, and multi-project delivery
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering cost savings and value creation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with senior leaders
  • High proficiency in English and strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
  • Master’s degree in Procurement, Finance, Business or related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM, PMP)
  • Experience leveraging market intelligence and external insights to drive strategy and innovation
  • Strong understanding of risk management across commercial, operational, and supplier domains
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels with a long-term value mindset
  • Proven leadership capability, including driving change and influencing without authority
  • Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed/global environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with high learning agility and ability to handle ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop team capabilities
