Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Manager-level Oracle EPM expert to join our Technology Consulting practice in India. You will serve as a techno-functional architect, delivering EPM implementations across the project lifecycle.

The role requires leading small teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and willingness to travel for client engagements. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in EPM, strong Essbase/Calc, and cloud EPM expertise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in EPM implementation modules and 5+ implementation projects in Oracle EPM products.
• Experience developing AOP/budget/forecast models using Oracle EPM modules (Consolidation, Financials, Workforce, Projects, Capital, Strategic Modelling).
• Strong knowledge of Essbase and calc scripts/Calc manager (Outline design, member formula, calc scripts, MaxL, MDX).
• Expertise in Oracle EPM cloud functionality such as data management, security, reporting, metadata, forms, task lists, smart lists, workflows, EPM automate.
• Extensive experience in developing calculation scripting and Groovy scripts.
• Proficient in designing and implementing EPM data integration solutions.
• Good understanding of financial statements and budgeting/forecasting processes.
• Familiar with Planning methodologies: Driver-based Planning, what-if Analysis, LRP, Rolling Forecast.

• Operate across SDLC phases: requirements, functional/technical design, development, testing, training, deployment, post go-live support.
• Be proactive with a solution-oriented mindset and learn new technologies for client needs.
• Ensure quality, correctness and completeness of all project deliverables and adhere to consulting standards.
• Collaborate with onshore and client stakeholders in a timely fashion.
• Lead a small team of developers and build high-performing teams.
• Willing to travel onsite on short-term or long-term basis as required.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

The opportunity

We’re looking for Managers with expertise in Oracle cloud EPM to join our Technology Consulting practice where we provide a one-stop solution for end-to-end project implementation enabled by expertise in Financial transformation using EPM/ or Fintech products.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Proactive with solution-oriented mindset, ready to learn new technologies for client requirements.
• Ensure quality, correctness and completeness of all project deliverables and adhere to consulting standards that are in place
• Collaborate/communicate with onshore and client stakeholders in a timely fashion
• Should be willing to lead a small team of developers and build high performing teams
• Should be willing to travel onsite on short term or long term on need basis
• Good written/verbal communication, presentation, interactive skills

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 10+ years of relevant experience in EPM implementation modules and should have completed 5+ implementation projects in Oracle EPM products.
• Experience developing AOP/budget/forecast models using oracle EPM modules such as Consolidation, Financials, Workforce, Projects, Capital, Strategic Modelling etc.
• Strong knowledge of Essbase and calc scripts/Calc manager (e.g., Outline design, member formula, calc scripts, MaxL scripts, MDX Queries)
• Expertise in Oracle EPM cloud functionality such as data management, security, reporting, metadata, forms, task lists, smart lists, workflows, EPM automate etc.
• Extensive experience in developing the calculation scripting and groovy scripts
• Proficient in designing and implementing EPM data integration solutions
• Good understanding of financial statements and budgeting and forecasting processes
• Familiar with Planning methodologies such as Driver based Planning, what if Analysis, LRP, Rolling Forecast etc.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in other Oracle EPM cloud solutions such such as EPCM/PCMCS, NR/EPRCS, EDMCS, FCCS etc.
• Exposure to key EPM technologies in the market such as OneStream, Tagetik, etc.
• Strong functional understanding of FP&A processes, accounting standards and reporting requirements of a typical CFO function
• Diverse experience working across sectors, regions, and clients
• Proven track record of demonstrating end-to-end accountability, exceeding customer expectations and achieve service delivery excellence
• MBA/CA/CMA/CFA qualifications
