Job summary

HSBC India in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Manager, Operational Resilience to strengthen the bank's resilience across critical services. You will drive IBS artefacts refresh and coordinate with Process Owners, Third Party Engagement Managers, IT Service Owners, and global mapping teams to ensure artefacts are up to date.

You will monitor remediation plans, support scenario testing with the BCIM team, and address 2LoD/3LoD queries while fostering a people-centric, compliant operating

Qualifications

• Graduation or higher with 3–8 years in banking/financial services.
• Experience liaising with internal/external partners in a HSBC environment.
• Strong written and oral English communication.
• Knowledge of Operational Resilience and agile project delivery.
• Experience in IT incident management / third party management / BCM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Refresh IBS artefacts with annual cadence or after events.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role ofManager, Operational Resilience

In this role, you will:

• Take measures to support the Business Service Owners (BSO) to refresh the Important Business Service (IBS) artefacts on annual cycle or by trigger events such as post-incident review, significant business changes and new regulatory requirement.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders including Process Owner,Third Party Engagement Manger, Information Technology Service Owner, global mapping team to ensure the Important Business Services (IBS) artefacts are up to date.
• Monitor and track the remediation plan of Business Vulnerabilities and Technology Vulnerabilities.
• Devise delivery strategy in coordinating Scenario Testing the Scenario Testing with Business Continuity and Incident Management (BCIM) team and key stakeholders.
• Responsible for ensuring all Important Business Services (IBS) artefacts are observed to global Operating Instructions and procedures, also to make sure the data quality is maintained.
• Address and follow up on queries and challenges from the Second Line of Defence (2LoD) and Third Line of Defence (3LoD).
• Participate in team meeting / team activities and work towards sustaining team spirit.
• Contribute to the creation of a supportive work environment driven by people centric values.

To be successful you will:

• University graduate/masters/certifications with an overall e xperience of 3-8 years.
• Possess working experience from a banking/financial institution, familiar with HSBC products and business services.
• Experienced in liaising with internal/external business partners.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good knowledge in Operational Resilience or have a strong interest and ability to learn fast.
• Ability to work agile and experience in project management with good deliverables.
• Experience Information Technology incident management / Third Party management / Business Continuity Management would be an advantage.
• Good stakeholder management and g ood problem solving skills.
• Logical thinking and sound skills in analysis.
• Demonstrate leadership capabilities including people management.
