Responsibilities

• Senior technical leadership and expertise across LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Cloud infrastructure, Unified Communications, and VPN operating environments supporting cloud data centers and approximately 140 global offices as well as a mobile workforce.
• Manage service providers across different countries to support a global network infrastructure.
• The successful candidate will have responsibility and accountability across several key areas, including:
• Operations planning, strategy & continuous improvement efforts.
• Network tools selection, operations, and administration.
• Establish best-practice methodologies based on metrics-based KPIs for incident/change/problem management in a global, 24x7, high-availability, critical production environment.
• Support application performance over a global network utilizing the public internet as the primary backbone.
• Drive the development of innovative network operations processes and tools from concept to delivery.
• Provide project leadership for network technology deployments for LAN, SD-WAN, and wireless networks to manage demands from projects and technology upgrades including recommendations for vendor tools/solutions and global alignment of networks.
• Oversee network operations projects, including budgeting, planning, implementation, maintenance, administration, staffing and logistics for an international organization.
• Strong understanding of budgets and financials, and measuring business value with ability to manage projects to budgets.
• Manage oversight of complex network operations processes based on a combination of vendors, custom solutions, and internal resources.
• Support adoption of new technologies and tools, and recommend capability improvements to network and security operations.
• Analyze networks from a cost, capacity, and forecast perspective, and evaluate new network operations technologies and applications.
• Develop strategic roadmaps to ensure network operations goals are met.
• Work closely with other departments to proactively ensure network operations capabilities are capable of handling emerging and future business requirements.
• Ensure service-level targets are met, and address all service-level complaints.
• Ensure network operations are conducted according to corporate standards, and in compliance with external standards as defined in company objectives.
• Network operations incident management, change management and problem management, as well as network security function.
• Provide subject matter expertise in interactions with partners and customers, program manage collaboration projects externally and internally.
• Responsible for efficient management of technology portfolio including hardware, SD-WAN circuits and contracts, contract services.

Required Experience

• Seven (7) years of advanced level experience working with networking hardware and software including network design and implementation.
• Five (5) years supervision and management experience of a technical network management team of at least 15 technicians.
• Demonstrated knowledge of network service delivery to include availability, reliability, security, administration and management, capacity planning, life-cycle management, roadmap, inventories, etc.
• Experience in managing technical projects through a project management process and relevant tools to ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery of project deliverables.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing a complex budget through the planning, budgeting, and operations for multiple budgets within the unit.
