Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai seeks a Marine/Naval Architect to lead technical bid and proposal activities, including concept design, GA development and weight estimation. You will perform hydrostatic, intact stability, damage stability and lightship assessments to ensure compliance and performance.

You'll develop and optimize hull forms, coordinate with Hull, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC and Production teams, supervise weight control, and mentor junior engineers while advancing engineering process

Qualifications

• Lead technical bid and proposal activities including concept design, GA development, weight estimation and stability assessment.
• Perform hydrostatic, intact stability, damage stability, loading condition and lightship assessments.
• Develop and optimize hull forms to meet performance, stability and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and support process improvements.
