Job summary

Hetero, a Hyderabad-based pharma company, is seeking a seasoned professional to manage end-to-end non-drug statutory liaison with government departments and local authorities. The role involves coordinating with factories, labs and plant projects, obtaining licenses, NOCs and other approvals, and ensuring compliance across sites.

You will work with Projects, Engineering, EHS, Administration, Legal and Finance, maintain records, address inspections, and build strong relationships with government

• Experience in government statutory approvals is required.
• Strong knowledge of authorities and approval processes across statutory bodies.
• Ability to manage multiple statutory matters and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end non-drug statutory liaisoning with Government departments and local authorities.
• Handle Factories, Fire, Boilers, Excise, TGIIC, HMDA and other statutory authorities.
• Obtain and renew licenses, NOCs, permissions and statutory approvals for plants and projects.
• Coordinate government inspections, address observations and ensure timely closure.
• Liaise for civil, infrastructure and plant-related approvals.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Projects, Engineering, EHS, Administration, Legal and Finance.
• Maintain trackers and records for all statutory licenses, approvals and renewals.
• Manage external liaisoning consultants and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with government officials and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate / Engineering qualification preferred.
• 8-15 years of relevant experience in government liaisoning / statutory affairs, preferably in pharma, chemical or manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of statutory authorities and approval processes.
• Excellent follow-up, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple statutory matters and government interactions.
