Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into legally compliant and commercially workable solutions.
• Evaluate different legal and commercial structures and recommend appropriate approach based on risk, cost, operational feasibility and business objectives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including master service agreements, delivery service agreements, vendor contracts, subcontracting agreements, collaboration agreements, partnership agreements etc.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and requirements.
• Research and interpret applicable laws, rules, regulations, notifications, judicial precedents and regulatory developments relevant to the business.
• Assess the impact of new or evolving laws on existing and proposed business practices.
• Work with business teams to develop implementation mechanisms that ensure compliance without creating unnecessary operational friction.
• Monitor regulatory developments and proactively communicate material changes and their business implications.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced resource to lead business-oriented legal advisory, oversee the drafting, negotiation, and management of contracts across various functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with legal requirements, mitigate risks, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Business-Oriented Legal Advisory

• Translate business requirements into legally compliant and commercially workable solutions.
• Evaluate different legal and commercial structures and recommend the most appropriate approach based on risk, cost, operational feasibility and business objectives.
• Take a risk-based approach to legal advice, distinguishing between critical legal risks and risks that can be appropriately mitigated or commercially accepted.

Contract Drafting and Negotiation

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including master service agreements, delivery service agreements, vendor contracts, subcontracting agreements, collaboration agreements, partnership agreements etc.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and requirements.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance
