Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Bengaluru is seeking a Manager IT - Global Transportation to lead IT activities for Transportation processes. You will own the SAP ECC/S4 HANA core solution and its integration with Transportation systems, coordinating with ABAP teams and external contractors.

Responsibilities cover deployment optimization, planning, carrier integration, and execution with a focus on logistics execution within SAP Logistics and OTM interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Over 4 years of experience in large-scale integration and ERP programs.

Role Overview

This role will be in the Global IT Transportation team responsible for IT activities related to Transportation processes in the areas of deployment Optimization, Transportation Planning, Carrier Integration and Execution. Your primary responsibility is the delivery of the Core solution in SAP ECC/S4 HANA and its integration with applications in Transportation space. You own the implementation and configuration of the global core solution and are an SME in ECC/S4 HANA and associated tools for Order Management, Deployment Optimization, Direct Procurement, and Intercompany transfers in relation to Transportation system.

Position Responsibilities

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to capture business requirements, translating them into effective systems design and implementation
• Provide direct leadership for external contractors overseeing systems project management, implementation, and integration
• Assume direct ownership of project financial governance and meticulous management of timelines
• Communicate comprehensively on all aspects related to systems and projects to senior leadership
• Provide core project management oversight for all aspects of systems implementation, including blueprinting, financial estimation and tracking, communication, development, testing, training, and hyper care support
• Lead joint project teams in shaping solutions for systems enhancement
• Provide expertise in logistics execution, shipment planning, carrier integration, and delivery within the SAP Logistics module, with seamless integration to OTM
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within SAP Logistics processes, including interfaces with OTM
• Provide technical oversight for configuring and customizing SAP Logistics modules to align with business-specific processes and optimize system performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ABAP developers, to address technical requirements and integrations, ensuring data consistency across the transportation systems landscape
• Handle system testing, identifying, and resolving issues to ensure smooth project implementations
• Act as the primary point of contact for project issue identification and resolution
• Prepare a comprehensive conversion plan outlining tasks, dependencies, responsible parties, and timelines for successful implementation
• Take the lead in on-site project hyper care coordination and issue resolution to ensure a smooth transition to steady-state business operations
• Document and maintain the project plan using the appropriate tool (Project NOW)
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications - Hard skills

• Bachelor s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field is a prerequisite.
• Possess over 4 years of experience, demonstrating expertise in:
• Implementing large-scale integration and transformation programs in OTC/STP and ERP systems, adept at blending business and technical capabilities to bridge end-to-end processes, operating models, and technical architecture.
• Project scoping, management, requirements analysis/definition/mapping, solution, and process design, as well as test planning/scenario creation for large-scale programs, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Working within the Consumer Products industry is desired.
• SAP certification (MM/WM/TM desired)
• Proficiency with ServiceNow desired
• Knowledge of SAP Logistics configuration, customization, and integration, particularly with OTM and transportation management systems (TMS)
• Robust understanding of logistics and transportation processes
• Proficient in business processes related to logistics, transportation, and supply chain execution, including OTM integration.
• Experience working with systems landscapes that include Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is desired.
• Proficient in conducting hands-on investigations into end-to-end IDoc processing, collaborating seamlessly with middleware teams.
• Ability to travel as required by projects.
