Job summary

ZEISS in Bengaluru leads IT & Digitalization strategy, seeking a senior professional to drive key initiatives, compile analyses, and prepare strategic decisions for the Management Board.

The role requires extensive cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and leadership with proven ability to deliver complex programs in a fast-paced, international environment. Fluency in English (German a plus) is beneficial.

Qualifications

• A degree with excellent grades from a leading university in engineering, business, or (business) informatics.
• Passion for IT and digitalization.
• 7–11 years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive key initiatives in IT and Digitalization by compiling analyses, developing concepts, preparing strategic decisions and Management Board resolutions, and preparing and following up of key meetings
• Supporting the Head of IT in critical operational topics (Manage internal Projects; Prepare decisions; organizing Events, etc)
• Support Budget Process and Budget Control
• Support the strategy development process for IT and Digitalization
• Team Management /Leadership skills / People Management
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams from all parts of the organization
• Prepare strategy updates, speeches and company presentations.
• Build a strong global network and trustful relationships across the ZEISS Group and set the foundation for a potentially outstanding career path

Job description

Requirements: -

A degree with excellent grades from a leading university, preferably in engineering, business, or (business) informatics, paired with a passion for IT and digitalization.

• Experience 7-11 years.


• At least 6 years of professional experience and proven track record in IT and Digitalization with strong exposure to strategic topics preferably in a leading management or IT consultancy


• Several years experience in running complex cross-functional processes or projects with a high number of stakeholders with proven success in lateral leadership.


• Strong moderation, presentation, and communication skills (both orally and written)


• Well-structured and self-organized way of working paired with strong process-discipline


• Strong analytical competence, strategic thinking, business acumen and hands-on, target-oriented mindset


• Self-motivated and able to work independently while also enjoying cross-functional teams


• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and uncertain environment


• Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills paired with strong analytical mindset


• Excellent follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities


• International experience and fluency in English and German (not mandatory, but good to have)
