Job summary

Genpact is hiring a Manager Internal Audit and SOX to lead SOX program delivery, control testing, and governance across global clients. You will guide teams through planning, scoping, and execution, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and robust internal controls.

The role requires managing audits, strengthening control frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degrees in Economics, Finance, or Statistics; MBA/Risk Management preferred.
• Experience in leading SOX and audit engagements and driving process improvements.
• Ability to craft, assess processes and controls and drive improvements.
• Experience with international client-facing roles on SOX and audit engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team on assignments, develop project plans, allocate resources, and supervise staff.
• Experience in SOX and audit engagements, including planning and delivery of controls testing.
• Craft and assess processes and controls to drive improvements and risk mitigation.
• Manage service delivery teams and coordinate with international clients at varying levels.

Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Manager Internal Audit and SOX. In this role you will be responsible for team handling on large projects encompassing the entire gamut of SOX from conceptualization to crafting to implementation of the entire SOX program including documentation and control testing evaluating internal controls reliability of financial reporting compliance with applicable laws and regulations and effectiveness and efficiency of operations including cost management. This should be a SOX framework implementer role.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in leading small team in assignments including developing project plans allocating resources and leading staff members.
• Experience of leading / handling SOX and Audit engagements
• Ability to craft and assess process and controls and drive improvements
• Experience in service delivery team handling work with all levels of staff and supervision of team members
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of technical platforms and risk management practices
• Ability to address queries on SOX and audit issues.
• Preferred experience of working in international client facing roles on SOX and Audit engagements.
