Job summary

Armanino India LLP is seeking a senior leader to head the India-based Infrastructure and Security Operations Center. You will manage a small team, oversee incident response, runbooks, and alerting, and coordinate with U.S.-based leadership to ensure timely resolution of issues across network, cloud, identity, and endpoint environments.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication with cross-functional teams, and a track record of improving runbooks, monitoring, and operational

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in infrastructure operations, security operations, network operations, systems administration, or related technology operations role
  • 4+ years leading or supervising technical operations resources
  • Experience managing escalations, monitoring alerts, incident response, and operational handoffs
  • Experience working with U.S.-based or global technology teams
  • Experience operating in a structured runbook, ticketing, monitoring, and escalation environment
  • Infrastructure operations across network, server, cloud, identity, endpoint, and collaboration platforms
  • Cybersecurity monitoring concepts, alert triage, escalation handling, and incident documentation
  • ITIL, SOC, NOC, or service operations background
  • Certifications: ITIL Foundation, Network+, Security+, Azure Fundamentals, SC-900, AZ-104, or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead India-based Infrastructure and Security Operations Center team for day-to-day operations
  • Coach a team of 4-6 infrastructure and security resources
  • Ensure work is prioritized, tracked, and completed per runbooks
  • Maintain visibility into open escalations, alert activity, aging issues, and follow-ups
  • Escalate risks and blockers to New York-based leadership
  • Oversee triage and escalation of incidents across network, server, cloud, identity, endpoint
  • Coordinate response for service-impacting issues and communicate status
  • Partner with NY-based teams on escalated issues
  • Ensure alerts follow approved runbooks and escalation paths
  • Drive improvement through process, monitoring, or automation
  • Review runbook gaps and update documentation as needed
  • Maintain consistency in ticketing and escalation summaries
  • Coach on technical troubleshooting, communication, and ownership
  • Ensure staffing coverage supports business needs and escalation timelines
  • Create transparency around team capacity and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain communication with Director of Core Technology in NY on priorities
  • Provide concise status updates on incidents, alerts, risks, and follow-ups

Responsibilities
  • Lead the India-based Infrastructure and Security Operations Center team responsible for day-to-day operational response
  • Manage, coach, and hold accountable a team of 4-6 infrastructure and security operations resources
  • Ensure work is prioritized, assigned, tracked, and completed according to defined operating procedures
  • Maintain clear daily visibility into open escalations, alert activity, aging issues, and follow-up items
  • Escalate risks, blockers, recurring issues, and operational gaps to New York-based leadership
  • Oversee triage and escalation of infrastructure incidents across network, server, cloud, identity, endpoint, and workspace environments
  • Ensure the team follows approved runbooks for investigation, validation, documentation, and escalation
  • Coordinate response for service-impacting infrastructure issues and communicate status clearly
  • Partner with New York-based infrastructure, platform, and engineering teams on escalated issues
  • Respond to infrastructure escalations with extreme urgency and ensure issues are followed through to resolution or proper handoff
  • Identify repeat issues and recommend process, monitoring, or automation improvements
  • Oversee initial review, triage, documentation, and escalation of cybersecurity alerts
  • Ensure alert handling follows approved security runbooks and escalation paths
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity, compliance, and infrastructure teams on incidents that require deeper investigation
  • Track alert volume, response quality, handoffs, and follow-up actions
  • Raise patterns, control gaps, and recurring alert issues to New York-based leadership
  • Ensure all infrastructure and cybersecurity escalations are handled according to defined runbooks
  • Maintain consistency in ticket documentation, alert notes, handoffs, and escalation summaries
  • Review runbook gaps and recommend updates based on recurring operational issues
  • Confirm team members understand expected response steps, communication standards, and escalation thresholds
  • Drive a culture of repeatable execution, ownership, and follow-through
  • Maintain constant communication with the Director of Core Technology in New York on operational priorities, escalations, and team performance
  • Provide concise status updates on active incidents, alerts, risks, and follow-up actions
  • Work directly with New York-based teams to ensure clean handoffs, shared visibility, and consistent ownership
  • Participate in regular operational reviews, escalation discussions, and planning sessions with U.S.-based leadership
  • Ensure availability to work with New York-based teams until at least 12:00 PM Eastern Time
  • Set clear expectations for team responsiveness, documentation, escalation quality, and follow-through
  • Review workload, ticket quality, alert handling, and operational performance across the India-based team
  • Coach team members on technical troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, and ownership
  • Ensure staffing coverage supports business needs, monitoring requirements, and escalation timelines
  • Create transparency around team capacity, blockers, skill gaps, and improvement opportunities
Requirements

  • Experience managing an offshore or India-based technology operations team supporting U.S. stakeholders
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, financial services, or other high-accountability enterprise environments
  • Experience with Microsoft security, endpoint, identity, and cloud operations tools
  • Experience improving runbooks, alert tuning, dashboards, or operational reporting
  • ITIL, SOC, NOC, or service operations background
  • Certifications: ITIL Foundation, Network+, Security+, Azure Fundamentals, SC-900, AZ-104, or equivalent
