The ideal candidate has 8+ years in HRIS with hands-on Workday configuration, strong reporting skills, and a proven ability to manage stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IS, or Business Administration.
  • 8+ years of HRIS or HR Technology experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration.
  • Strong expertise in Core HCM, Talent, Performance, Succession, Career.
  • Experience developing Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Experience managing global HR stakeholder relationships.
  • Workday certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Your work will enable our teams to thrive as they help patients live healthier and more productive lives The Manager, HRIS (Talent & Core HCM) will serve as a hands‑on Workday functional expert responsible for the design, configuration, optimization, and support of Workday Core HCM and Talent solutions. This role will partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, IT, and business leaders. This role is responsible for translating complex business needs into scalable Workday solutions and ensuring seamless integration and alignment across current and future HR systems that enhance employee and manager experiences. The ideal candidate combines deep Workday configuration expertise with strong business acumen, stakeholder management, reporting capabilities and the ability to think beyond a single platform, enabling a connected, scalable, and future‑ready HR tech landscape. Experience across additional Workday modules is highly desirable.

How you’ll make an impact:
Workday Functional Leadership
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Core HCM, Talent, Performance, Succession, Career, Skills, and related employee lifecycle processes.
  • Lead solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on user experience, process simplification, and scalability.
  • Evaluate business requirements and recommend optimal Workday solutions and best practices.
  • Assess downstream impacts across business processes, integrations and reporting.
Configuration and Release Management
  • Perform hands‑on configuration of Workday business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, notifications, eligibility rules, and security-driven functionality.
  • Support Workday releases, feature adoption, regression testing, and deployment activities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, configuration standards, and testing artifacts.
  • Ensure solutions are sustainable, scalable, and aligned with governance standards.
Reporting and Analytics
  • Build and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, scorecards, and calculated fields.
  • Support Talent and HR leaders with workforce insights and reporting needs.
  • Analyze data trends and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and decision making.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across reporting solutions.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Partner with Talent Management, HRBPs, Compensation, HR Ops, and IT teams globally.
  • Translate complex business requirements into practical system solutions.
  • Provide consultative guidance and influence decision‑making through subject matter expertise.
  • Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
Delivery Excellence
  • Lead functional workstreams for large HR technology projects and enhancements.
  • Manage priorities across multiple initiatives while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual HR processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and governance activities.
What you'll need (Required):
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of HRIS or HR Technology experience.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on Workday configuration experience.
  • Strong expertise in: Core HCM, Talent, Performance, Succession, Career, Business Processes
  • Experience developing advanced Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience supporting global HR organizations.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship‑building abilities, including negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic environment.
  • Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and HRIS systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation competencies.
  • Ability to discern and address analytical requirements in ambiguous contexts.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach to issue escalation.
  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to team achievement.
  • Workday certifications (HCM, Compensation, Talent and/or Integrations strongly preferred)
  • Experience with Workday integrations (e.g., Studio, EIB, APIs)
  • Experience working in a global matrixed environment.
  • Prior experience mentoring analysts or leading projects.
