Universal AI University is seeking a Manager - HR to drive HR strategies across talent acquisition, engagement, performance and compliance. You will lead AI-driven recruitment for faculty and staff, build an employer brand, and design learning pathways including AI upskilling for academic professionals.

The Manager - HR at Universal AI University will play a pivotal role in executing HR strategies that align with the institution’s vision, mission, and AI-driven educational approach. This position will oversee HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR analytics, ensuring a high-performance culture that fosters innovation and academic excellence.
Lead end-to-end recruitment for faculty, researchers, and administrative staff, ensuring alignment with the university’s AI-focused academic goals.
Develop a strong employer brand to attract top-tier talent in education, research, and technology.
Implement innovative hiring strategies, including AI-driven recruitment tools and campus hiring programs.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and employee well-being.
Design and implement engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, feedback mechanisms, and career development pathways.
Address employee concerns, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Execute the performance management systems, ensuring alignment with academic and operational goals.
Identify training needs and facilitate leadership development programs, AI upskilling, and faculty training.
Promote a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
4. HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure smooth HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee records management.
Maintain compliance with labor laws, university policies, and accreditation standards.
Leverage HR analytics to provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: years of progressive HR experience, preferably in higher education, ed-tech, or AI-driven organizations.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance.
Expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
Proficiency in HRIS ( KEKA), data analytics, and AI-powered HR tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred: Certification in HR (SHRM, HRCI) or experience in academic HR environments.
