Manager - Group Financial Controller

• Oversees the accounting financial operations, reporting, financial and statutory compliance for group of companies. Manage day-to-day operations, consolidate financial statements, manage budgets, enforce internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance and provide strategic data to support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Consolidation:

• Direct month/year-end closing, combine financial data from various business units to produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and prepare consolidated statements for all entities.

Treasury & Cash Management:

• Oversee group-wide liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and debt management to ensure optimal working capital across the conglomerate.

Compliance & Auditing:

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP), handling statutory audits and ensuring seamless resolution of audit findings and manage external audit relationships.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Coordinate with unit managers to prepare detailed budgets, monitor financial performance against thos se goals, identify areas for cost reduction and perform variance analysis.
• Analyze cash flow and project revenue to forecast their organization’s financial future and recommend strategies and determines financial benchmarks.

Internal Controls:

• Implement policies to secure assets and ensure data integrity.

Audit Management:

• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors.

System Implementation:

• Often oversee the modernization of financial software, making the consolidation of data across different locations more efficient.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1. CA 2-3 years of progressive financial management experience in a managerial controller role, preferably within a large enterprise or diversified industrial conglomerate.
• 2. Advanced expertise in IFRS/Indian GAAP and complex consolidation software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• 3. Deep understanding of multi-currency environments, manufacturing/operational costs, supply chain economics, and corporate taxation.
• 4. Strong ability to implement and monitor internal controls.
• 5. Creative reporting capability.

• 7. Good communicator, planner and organiser.
• 8. Effective project management skills.
