Qualifications

• CA/CMA/MBA with 16–20 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, and controllership.
• Candidates from Retail industry preferred.
• Deep understanding of IFRS, Ind AS, and local GAAP frameworks.
• Prior team management experience (10+ members).
• Proven experience managing audits, statutory reporting, and multi-country finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for multiple international entities.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements in IFRS and local GAAP.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit deliverables.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and balance confirmations.
• Partner with regional and global finance stakeholders for group reporting and consolidation.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and accounting excellence in SSC.
• Lead and mentor a sizeable finance team to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

• Partner with regional and global finance stakeholders to support group reporting and consolidation requirements.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across assigned jurisdictions.
• Drive process improvement, automation initiatives, and accounting excellence within the finance shared services environment.
• Lead and mentor a sizeable finance team while ensuring high-quality deliverables within agreed timelines.

The Successful Applicant

• CA/CMA/MBA with approximately 16-20 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, and controllership.
• Candidates from Retail industry would be given strong preference.
• Deep understanding of IFRS, Ind AS, and local GAAP frameworks.
• Prior Team Manager experience is a must- 10+ team members.
• Proven experience managing audits, statutory reporting, and complex multi-country finance operations
• Demonstrated people leadership experience managing large finance teams.
• Strong systems orientation, preferably with SAP exposure and advanced Excel capabilities.
