Job summary

Cubic Corporation in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to lead analysis of business processes affecting financial accounting and to implement ERP/SAP enhancements. You will coordinate with IT and finance teams to plan projects, design solutions, and support reporting and data management.

The role requires strong SAP knowledge, master data management, and experience guiding both onshore and offshore contributors in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in finance/accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum of eight years experience in a financial accounting environment including implementation or upgrade of financial accounting systems.
• Accounting qualifications or Masters in Business Administration preferred.
• Five years or more of experience with SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the implementation of new financial accounting software applications including planning and scheduling of tasks in coordination with IT Department.
• Has ownership of complex master data objects in ERP system.
• Must have strong knowledge of all accounting aspects of SAP.
• Designs processes to resolve issues, meet new requirements, or introduce efficiencies.
• Documents procedures within the Accounting Department.
• Analyzes business processes affecting the accounting function and plans process improvement projects in conjunction with other departments involved in the process.
• Trains users of financial accounting systems, including direct and indirect users.
• Participates in designing the creation of new accounting reports to support financial system users.
• Supervises Financial Systems Analysts and other contributors onshore and offshore in a matrix organization.

Uses experience and expertise to design new solutions to problems. Represents the Financial Accounting Department on ERP and other IT implementations. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.
